Higher education is an extremely dynamic area in today's environments and there is absolutely no scope for complacency; one needs to be on learning curve all the time and augment knowledge using new ways of enhancing depth of his knowledge. A question generally is encoutered-Is there any end to it?. I am surprised to find always- No, to this question
Semiconductor Technology is a living example where education played a pivotal role in it's advancement.
Satellite communication, mobile communication and internet are other fast growing fields where higher education is doing wonders.
A very important area of learning is fast emerging is life and technology in other planets.
All this upcoming knowledge requires a very systematic, focussed but interesting, easy learning and an expedient route, and the base line will be affordable costs.
Questions normally I face are :Are we ready for dealing with those packets of knowledge which are heading towards our planet? If yes, which system we are going to follow? To me it appears to be a global problem and requires brainstorming in days to come as Higher education will be needed for understanding and assimiliation of the knowledge we receive in days to come.
